Find your memorial, airfield or museum by selecting your choice, then clicking on the relevant pin on the map. The ‘aeroplane’ indicates an airfield, the ‘M’ a museum and the small ‘cross’ a memorial. Positions are as accurate as possible, but due to overlapping, some are approximate.
Unfortunately this is optimised for large screens e.g. monitors and laptops. It will work on smart phones and tablets, but small screens may cause viewing problems. Try turning the device into landscape and clicking the broken square (full map) this may help. This particular problem is unfortunately beyond my control.

I figured it out – found where to change the markers/icons!

I LOVE your interactive map! In fact, I love it so much, I am attempting to create one (or more) to follow the path of the POW marchers from Stalag Luft 4. I have spent a couple days working it out, but the one thing I can’t figure out how you accomplished was your own markers, the plane for Airfields, the M for museums, and the cross for Memorials. Can you share your method for making your own unique markers? Thanks, Cindy

Sorry Cindy I missed this! I see that have figured it out though, quite easy when you know how! Glad you got it sorted and good luck with it, it’ll be a great addition to your blog.
